March Calendar - Updated!

Important Reminders and Notifications

Virtual Picture Day Option: Due to the current remote setting, our scheduled March picture days were cancelled, but families can use the Snaps@Home feature on the Shutterfly app if interested in ordering pictures for scholars. Families can order directly through the Shutterfly app. More info can be found HERE

Updated Expanded Calendar: We have updated our Expanded Calendar with events that are happening at our school. Please review and save the updated calendar attached for your records.

Access Report Cards: Families will be able to pull their child’s report cards beginning Thursday, February 25th using these instructions to access Student Illuminate Portal.

CALS Building Access Changes: Families will only be allowed to access the building by appointment. You can make an appointment by contacting the CALS Ops Team via email or phone. Additionally, anyone entering the building will be expected to fill out the daily health questionnaire and temperature screening.

Technology Access Reminders: Families, please make sure that your scholars are taking proper care of their school technology. We need to ensure they are appropriately used and protected. Families may incur a fee to fix/replace parts of the laptop if they are damaged.

Family Association Community Event: “A Night of Hope”

It has been a year since we have been in remote learning due to the pandemic, and we are hosting a CALS community-wide evening event commemorating the anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic, and to celebrate our resilience. We would really like for students, families and staff to participate, so if you are interested in doing a small performance piece or presentation, please sign up to participate The event will be held on Thursday March 25 Ring Central link Bring a candle to light at the event.

Our Ascend Schools SY2021-2022 Application is still open. Please help us spread the word in your communities, or to your other family and friends!
